ANNA GAMMANS
Anna Gammans is an internationally exhibited artist, broadcaster, and art expert based in London. Her work has been showcased in over 100 galleries worldwide with more than 50 solo exhibitions to date. She has presented and produced programmes for leading institutions including the BBC, Sotheby’s, and Tate Modern, and is known for her commitment to making the art world more open and accessible to all.
Her emotionally charged oil paintings are defined by their bold use of colour, texture and movement — capturing the fleeting intensity of life’s most powerful moments. Represented by DeMontfort Fine Art, the world’s largest gallery group, her expressive style and distinctive voice have earned her a growing international collector base, with 13 solo exhibitions already lined up for 2025.
In addition to her studio practice, Anna holds a First-Class Master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Goldsmith’s University of London which has helped her to bring people closer to art through conversation and storytelling. In 2019, she launched Art Then & Now, a radio show and podcast featuring over 70 interviews with curators, artists, and art world insiders from institutions such as Tate, Saatchi Gallery, Sky Arts, and the Barbican.
In 2024, she co-founded a new podcast with art critic Tabish Khan, aimed at demystifying the art world through conversations with artists and creatives. Its first live event took place at The Mall Galleries in London in April 2025, with further events planned for the year ahead.
Whether through her paintings or her voice, Anna’s mission remains the same: to make art feel powerful, human, and accessible to everyone.
